Strategiz is an AI-powered platform for researching and testing market strategies. In Labs you can describe a strategy in plain English, assemble it visually from rule blocks, or write it directly in Python, then backtest it against real historical market data. Strategies you keep can raise instant alerts — by SMS, mobile push, email, or in-app notification — the moment their conditions fire. Strategiz is research software: it does not place trades, and it is not a broker, adviser, or portfolio manager.

Open the Labs section and pick one of three routes: (1) describe the strategy in plain English and let the AI generator draft it, (2) build it visually with drag-and-drop rule blocks, or (3) write Python directly. All three produce the same kind of strategy, and all three can be backtested against historical market data.

Not today. Brokerage connections are marked coming soon in the app and are not enabled for any provider. Strategiz does not route orders, does not hold brokerage credentials, and has no path to execute a trade on your behalf. Everything the platform does today is research, backtesting, and alerting.

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and encrypted at rest, and platform credentials are held in HashiCorp Vault rather than in application config. Accounts support multi-factor authentication using passkeys, TOTP authenticator apps, and email verification codes.

No. Strategiz holds no brokerage credentials, has no custody of funds, and places no orders. It is research and alerting software: it tells you when the conditions you defined have occurred. Every trading decision, and every order, stays with you and your own broker.

Yes. Strategiz supports passkeys (WebAuthn — Face ID, Touch ID, or a hardware security key), TOTP authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password), and email verification codes. SMS is not used as a sign-in or MFA factor. Enabling at least one method is strongly recommended.

A library of standard technical indicators, including RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, SMA, EMA, Stochastic, ATR, and VWAP. The same indicators are available whether you build visually, generate the strategy with AI, or write the Python yourself.

Yes. The AI strategy generator turns a plain-English description into a working strategy and the Python behind it, which you can then read, edit, backtest, and refine. Treat anything it produces as a starting point for your own research, not as a recommendation.

Python. It gives strategies access to libraries such as pandas and numpy for data handling and technical analysis, and strategy code runs in a sandboxed execution environment.

A backtest replays your strategy against historical market data and reports what it would have done, with metrics such as P&L, Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, win rate, and a trade-by-trade breakdown. Those trades are simulated, never real: a backtest is a hypothetical reconstruction of the past, not a live or paper order.

We buy market data from three vendors, and we calculate some timeframes ourselves from the bars we buy. Rather than summarise that here and let the two versions drift apart, we keep the whole picture in one place — which vendor each timeframe comes from, how far back it actually reaches, and which bars are bought versus calculated.

No. Backtesting results are hypothetical and based on historical data. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Market conditions change, and a strategy that looked good over history may behave completely differently going forward. Treat every backtest as a question about the past, not a prediction about the future, and never as a substitute for your own judgement or professional advice.

You get an alert, straight away. A live strategy is evaluated against incoming market data, and the moment its conditions fire, Strategiz sends you a notification saying what triggered and on which symbol. The alert is the product: Strategiz tells you what happened, and you decide what — if anything — to do about it.

Through four channels: SMS text message, push notification to the Strategiz mobile app, email, and in-app notifications on the web. You choose which channels to use, so an alert can reach you on your phone even when you are nowhere near the platform. Note that SMS is a delivery channel only — it is never used to sign in or as an authentication factor.

No. An alert is a message, not an order. Strategiz notifies you that your conditions have been met; nothing is bought or sold on your behalf, in any circumstance. When an alert arrives you review it and act — or ignore it — in your own brokerage account.

There are four plans: Explorer, Tinkerer, Strategist, and Quant. Explorer is free and covers browsing and exploring the platform. The three paid plans add progressively larger monthly STRAT credit allowances and unlock more of the AI generation, backtesting, and alerting features. Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe, our payment processor. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on Strategiz servers.

No. Strategiz does not execute trades. There is no auto-execution, no order routing, and no trading bot. A strategy you put live watches the market and alerts you — by SMS, mobile push, email, or in-app notification — when its conditions fire; you decide whether to act, and you place any order yourself in your own brokerage account. Automated execution is not part of the product today.

Trading carries substantial risk and you can lose money, up to and including your entire investment. A strategy that looked strong in a backtest can behave badly in live markets, indicators lag, market data can be delayed or incorrect, and an alert may reach you after the market has already moved. Because Strategiz never places an order, every trade is a decision you make yourself — make it only with capital you can afford to lose.

No. Strategiz is a software platform, not a financial adviser, broker, or portfolio manager. It does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. All tools, strategies, signals, and alerts are for research, educational, and informational purposes only. Consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.

The code validator catches common problems before a run. If a runtime error occurs during a backtest, the error message is surfaced so you can fix the strategy and run it again. Because Strategiz never places orders, a strategy error can never open, close, or size a position — the worst case is a failed backtest or a missed alert.
